And we're back!

Best news first: my package from WhimzyPinzy arrived! To celebrate, kitten and I took some overexposed pictures. =)

Nona did her very best to be in each of the pictures, despite being firmly pushed off the table more than once. So, once the yarn-mail was done being photographed, I let her pose, too.

Isn't she photogenic! It almost makes up for what a horrible photographer I am. =) Anyhow, the package got me all excited about the Red Panda Purse again, so I finished Kitchenering the seams on the orange base and felted it all nice and round.

... okay, sure, it looks exactly like the Orange You Glad purse... for now. But using your imagination together with this picture...

Maybe not. I'll just have to finish it quick so I can show it off! I actually have no idea how I'm going to make/attached the ears as of yet. Well, I'll probably make them in the round with matching decreases like a sock toe, but the whole attaching business is still up in the air.

In other knitting news, I've turned the heel on the second Lombard Street Sock. I've also discovered that just after turning the heel is not the most convenient moment to model the sock with the needles in. >.<

Awesome! Not only are those both terrible pictures (the socks are burgundy, not black!), but the internet is going buggy on me. So, until next time...

Bye!
